William Serrano, charged with shooting his girlfriend Tessa Ghering at their home in Kimball, has been scheduled for a motion hearing next month. Ghering died at the scene.
Judge Derek Weimer continued the case Nov. 1 and a lengthier hearing is scheduled in Kimball District Court at 9 a.m. on Dec. 12.
Serrano remains in the Kimball County Jail on charges including manslaughter, attempted first degree murder, and attempted terroristic threats.
