Florance E. Haug, 91, of Torrington, Wyoming, died on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the Kimball Presbyterian Church with Pastor Alan Foutz officiating. Burial will be held in the Kimball Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Friends may visit http://www.cantrellfh.com to view Florance's Tribute Wall to leave condolences and stories for the family. Memorials may be given in her name to the Senior Friendship Center in Torrington. The services for Florance have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball.
Florance Elaine Haug was born in Burns, Wyoming on February 12, 1931, the daughter of Daniel and Nellie (Young) Kinnison. She moved with her family to Keota, Colorado and graduated in 1950. She worked at Rexall Drug in Kimball while living with her sister Edith Haines.
She met Orville (Bud) Haug and they were married in Kimball. They lived on a farm south of Bushnell and Florance worked as a homemaker taking care of her family. Orville preceded her in death in 1970 and she moved to Kimball.
She worked at the Kimball Public Schools as a cook, she also cleaned houses and owned the Hobby Hutch while living in Kimball. God and her family were important to her. She enjoyed crocheting, going to garage sales and collecting antiques.
Survivors include her children Luree Ferguson of Torrington, WY., Carl (RoJean) Haug of Pine Bluffs, WY., Debra (Fred) Lonsdale of Pine Bluffs, WY., and Kerry (Wendy) Haug of Kimball, NE; sister Dorothy Alexander of Lincoln, CA, Lillian Bondell of Dickinson, ND., and LaVern Kinnison of Moscow, ID .; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Nellie and Edith, a brother Daniel and son-in-law Alan Ferguson.
