Leading Kimball in rebounds were Lusche with 11, Braxton Miller with 10 and Paxton with 6. Miller also was Kimball’s assist leader with 7.
Wrestling
Meanwhile, the Kimball wrestling team was scheduled to participate in the Sutherland Invitational on Dec. 17, but the bad weather got in the way and it was decided that it was best to stay at home.
Coach Cory McManigal told the Observer that in addition to the weather, not having practice all week was a factor in that it would have been detrimental to weight management plans for his wrestlers.
The Horns return to the mats Jan. 8 at the Garden County Tournament.
