Broomfield Has Medical Emergency In Mexico

He Will Be Away For An ‘Undetermined’ Period Of Time

Dr. James Broomfield, a familiar name in Kimball healthcare circles, is recovering after suffering a medical emergency while on vacation in Mexico, according to a statement from his clinic.

Broomfield most recently has practiced at Hometown Medical Group in Kimball, formerly known as Arrow Medical before a recent change of direction, and before that he was at Kimball Health Services.

In a statement provided to the Observer, Hometown Medical said Broomfield would be “out of clinic for an undetermined time.” The statement said the clinic will remain open and contact those with scheduled appointments to arrange for care.

The severity of Broomfield’s health issue was not addressed other than to say it was a “medical emergency.”

“Dr. Broomfield and his family would appreciate your prayers for healing and continued support,” the statement read. “We would, however, ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time. We will continue to update as we have opportunity.”
