Judy B. Pohl, age 86, of Sidney, passed away in Bridgeport, NE on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Light Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sidney, NE with Reverend Tom Waddell officiating. Cremation has been held. A private family graveside will follow at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery in Sidney. Services will be livestreamed on the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel Facebook page and recorded for later viewing on our website.
Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Monday from 1-6:00 P.M. with family present from 4-6:00 P.M. to leave condolences for the family. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Light Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sidney or the donor's choice.

She was born November 25, 1936 at Minot, ND to J. Leonard and Harriet J. (Johnson) Everett. She attended school in Rapid City, SD, Greeley, CO and Kimball, NE. She graduated from West Nebraska General Hospital School of Nursing at Scottsbluff, NE. She worked as an RN for 40 years before retiring in 1998. She was a long-time member of the church and served as Deacon and Elder.
She married Gary Lopez of Gering, NE in 1958. To this union a son and three daughters were born, Rick, Lori, Kelly and Shari. She married Robert A. Pohl in Sidney in 1985.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Sidney, son Rick and wife Roxie Lopez of Cheyenne, WY, daughters Lori Lopez of Colorado Springs, CO, Kelly and husband Jim Heaton of Louisa, VA, and Shari and husband Christopher Stettler of Bristow, VA, stepchildren Chava (Christine) and husband Richard Kantor of Las Vegas, NV, Michael and wife Kathy Pohl of Papillion, NE, daughter-in-law Mary (Pohl) White of Glenwood Springs, CO, Steve and wife Sonja Pohl of Bennett, CO, Andrew and wife Beth Pohl of New Gloucester, ME, brothers Wayne Everett of St. Petersburg, FL, and Neil and wife Jacqueline Everett of Lansing, IA, sisters Jill and husband Don Osborn of Naples, FL and Ruth Bell of Ojai, CA, 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepson James Pohl and sister-in-law Christa Everett.
