Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Next up for the Longhorn track teams is the WTC meet at Bayard, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 15.
The Kimball boys and girls last competed on Saturday, April 8, traveling to Colorado for the Holyoke High School Invitational and achieved some fine results.
Here are some of the highlights.
Braylon Miller was first in the 2-mile and third in the mile.
Addy Olson placed first in the Triple Jump and fourth in the High Jump.
James McGinnis was second in Pole Vault.
Jayden Paxton third in the Long Jump.
The girls 4x100 team of Emma Novotny, Jade O'Rourke, Olson and Julia Winstrom placed third.
Wyatt Cords third in the Discus.
Boys 4x100 team of Cords, Jacob Wendt, McGinnis and Klosterman was third.
The 4x400 team of Braxton Miller, Ryker Behrends, Thomas-Lewis, and Wendt was third.
Xavier Thomas-Lewis was fourth in the 400.
Julia Winstrom placed fourth in the 100.
Braxton Miller was fourth in the mile.
In the Thrower's relay the team of Grace Anderson, Carlee Murdoch, Aubrey Culek and Joey Perry was 4th.
Trenton Hottell was fourth in the 110 Hurdles and Justin Klosterman was fifth.
Peter Russell fifth in the 300 Hurdles.
