36 Threesomes Compete in Annual Tournament At Four Winds Golf Course
Another perfect Father's Day for the Greenwoods as they rack up another win. Jordan, Kenny, and Jeffrey Greenwood shot 59 on Saturday and 58 on Sunday for a total gross of 117 to win flight 1 of the Father's Day golf tournament. In second place, the Texas Browns shot 61 and 62 for a total of 123, followed by Greg Robinson and sons Tony and Michael with 124. Mark Daum and sons Jake and Colton were in the money with a fourth-place finish, shooting a 125.
Thirty-six three-person teams kept the course busy on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, but play was fast, and the course was in perfect condition.
Winning flight 2 was Lynn Anthony, Zane Anthony, and Kelly Garrett, with 66 and 62 for the winning total of 128. The Stafford trio from the Denver area shot a 131 for second place. A tie existed for third place with William/Brown/Brown and the Texas Brown with a 133.
The McCloud team took first place in Flight 3 with a 71/68 for 139, and Michael, Ethan, and Adam Greenwood shot 71/70 for 141. Third place resulted in a three-way tie between the team of Dave Lukassen, Mike Moehr, Leo O'Hare, and Mitch Brown with his sons Mason and Barrett and William/William and Walker team. All three teams shot 144.
Finally, flight 4 champions were the Colderwood team with a 76/69=145. Dad, Dean Golding, and sons Jace and Justus, shot a 147 for second place. Gary Haack, along with his son-in-law Chris Tran and grandson, Asher shot a 149. A tie for fourth place between the Fennells and team Wynne, with both teams shooting 76/76=152.
