Farmers Day honors all farmers, but this year the Scott Lockwood Family received the award of Farmer of the Year. Five generations of Lockwoods have farmed in Kimball County. The Lockwood operation began in 1917, and today the Lockwoods are predominately organic wheat and millet farmers. Receiving the award are Susan and Scott Lockwood.
