READY FOR SOME WINTER HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS?

The Kimball High School sports coaches and sponsors met Tuesday in preparation for the winter sports season.

It’s fast-approaching.

Here are the opening schedules for the Longhorns, Banner County Wildcats and Potter-Dix Coyotes.

Kimball

Nov. 27: Girls varsity basketball jamboree at Alliance, 5:30 p.m., followed by boys varsity jamboree at 7 p.m.

Nov. 30: Varsity wrestling invitational at Hemingford, 2 p.m.

Nov. 30: Boys varsity, girls varsity and girls JV at Bayard. Games start at 4 p.m. with girls JV.

Banner County

Nov. 30: Varsity wrestling at Hemingford tournament, 4 p.m.

Dec. 1: Girls varsity basketball at Hyannis, 1 p.m., followed by boys varsity at 2:30 p.m.

Potter-Dix

Nov. 21: Basketball jamboree at Wallace, 4 p.m.

Dec. 1: Basketball at Morrill, 4 p.m.

Dec. 2: Basketball at Lone Star, Colo.
