Potter-Dix, Banner FFA Also Have State Qualifiers
Kimball FFA showed well – among the best – Nov. 15 during the District 12 Leadership Contest at Chadron State College.
The top three finishers in each category qualified for the state contest in Lincoln next April – and Kimball was among the highest overall leaders in qualifiers.
Potter-Dix and Banner County FFA chapters added to the southern Panhandle's fine showing with their own qualifiers.
Hundreds of FFA students from 20 schools participated. Here are this area's state qualifiers:
Kimball FFA
Parliamentary Procedure Team – Kimball, first place district champion: Grace Anderson, Landon Norberg, Aubrey Culek, Hayden Sours, Mallory Hottell and Nolan Cook.
Junior Public Speaking – Mallory Hottell, first place district champion.
Conduct of Chapter Meeting Team – Kimball, second place district reserve champion: Trey Cook, Wyatt Cook, Jax Troth, Paige Frederick, Tradin Hottell, Lane Cook, Clarika Hottell, Carly Norberg and Karsyn Chesley.
Creed Speaking – Carly Norberg, third place state qualifier.
Enjoying blue ribbon efforts for Kimball FFA were Dakota Vrbas and Travis Fryda in Ag Demo and Julie Winstrom in employment skills. Carlle Murdoch earned a red ribbon in employment skills.
Potter-Dix FFA
