Larry Dale Halstead

Larry Dale Halstead, 70, of Johnstown Colorado, passed away on December 17, 2023.

He was born on January 9, 1953 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and graduated from Kimball High School in 1971. He went on to serve in the U.S. Navy from 1971-1975 as a GMG3 Gunners Mate Petty Officer 3rd Class and earned a Bronze Star among other commendations while serving in Vietnam. Larry, or "Echo" as he was known by so many, worked in the oilfields upon exiting the military and spent 5 years at Evertson Well Service, 28 years with Cannon Oil & Gas, and 13 years as an independent consultant.
