Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
A search warrant resulting in multiple Kimball arrests was executed on March 9 at separate residences by the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s department was assisted by the Kimball police and the Nebraska State Patrol.
A traffic stop in the 600 block of Burg Street produced stolen items as well as a white powdery substance on the person of Jordan Crews. Crews, 27 was arrested and charged for possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of stolen property with a bond of $5,000.
Arrested as a result of the search warrant was Christopher Hughes, 36, for bond violation. No bond was set for Hughes.
The search warrant also was served on 307 Myrtle St., where Kimberly Randles was staying, produced nine pipes with residue and a black container with a green leafy substance. According to the affidavit, Randles, 52, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth) a felony. Joseph Robinson, 34, was arrested for an unrelated burglary incident.
Randles has bonded out but Hughes, Crews, and Robinson remain in Kimball County Jail.
In an unrelated I-80 traffic stop by the Nebraska State Patrol, Rich Christopher, 44 was arrested for DUI second offense, no interlock for a DUI offender to breathe into, open container and speeding.
