Barbara Sue Thompson

Barbara Sue Thompson, 77 of Harrisburg, Nebraska passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.

At her request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.

Memorials may be given to the Banner County Volunteer Fire & Rescue or Banner County Museum.

Barbara was born on October 26, 1946, in Elgin, Illinois, to Kenneth and Myrtle (Olson) Cady. She married Marvin Thompson on June 21, 2002 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and they made their home in Rio Rancho and settled in Harrisburg, Nebraska.

Survivors include her brother David Cady and his wife Jan Cady; her daughter Jennifer Hise, her grandsons Austin and Dylan Hise; her son Perry R Parton and his wife Alma Parton; Dianna Lively, Isabel Candelaria and her husband Mark and son Lethan Olvera.

She was preceded in death by her mother Myrtle Cady, her father Kenneth Cady and her first husband Perry D Parton.
