Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
The Banner County FFA chapter competed recently at the State FFA Convention and boy did they represent the county well!
Twelve local FFA members competed in AG Mechanics, Environment and Natural Resources, Livestock Management, Meats Judging, and Senior Public Speaking. Three people also received their State FFA degrees, and the chapter showed off Banner County by doing a table about Banner County.
Here are the chapter’s results:
• Ag Mechanics placed 31st out of 58 teams.
• Environment and Natural Resources placed 31st out of 76 teams and earned a white ribbon
• Meats Judging placed 11th out of 58 teams and earned a blue ribbon
• Senior Public Speaking received a bronze medal.
- Livestock Management placed 14th out of 58 teams and earned a blue ribbon. They also placed fourth in the state for the poultry and horse division.
