Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Kimball Longhorn Kyler Lusche shot an even par 72 at the Scotts Bluff Country Club Invite on Monday and finished second only to Tommy Dredla of Scottsbluff, who shot a 3 under par 69.
The Kimball team placed 11th against some tough competition, including Scottsbluff, Gering, Sidney, Ogallala, Cheyenne Central and Cheyenne East.
The top 10 on the leaderboard were all under 80 strokes.
For Kimball, Connor Deboodt shot 108, Ryker Behrend had 117, and Branson Kiefer and Landon Norberg both shot 95.
On Tuesday, the team traveled to Alliance Sky View Course. Lusche shot 75. Deboodt tallied 89, Behend was at 104, Kiefer shot 97 and Norberg had 98.
On Thursday, the Longhorn golf team hits the road again and plays at Sutherland.
