Norma Jean (Brenay) Bushor, 87, peacefully passed away on March 21, 2024, in Mesa, Arizona, with her daughter by her side. She was born June 19, 1936, to Millie (Dodge) and Norman Brenay in Saginaw, Michigan
Norma graduated from Montrose High School in Montrose, Michigan, in 1954. She had a passion for crocheting, her beloved dogs and traveling early in her retirement. She was also a member of the Gold Canyon United Methodist Church in Apache Junction, Arizona.
Norma is survived by her loving children, Cheryl (Charles) Paul of Kimball, Nebraska; and Rodney (Jason) Bushor of Tucson, Arizona; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and 3 sisters – Laura Hildinger, Bertha Morr and Frances Iwen.
Norma was preceded in death by infant daughter Cindy Lou Allen, son Norman Allen, daughter Tammy Allen, grandsons Paul and Jason Allen, husbands Robert Bushor (2004) and Howard Hartung (2017) as well as her parents, and sisters Goldie Specht and Marie Ann Axtell.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Kimball Cemetery followed by a small reception at the home of Cheryl Paul.
