DRIVING FOR SUCCESS

Kimball High School freshmen Noley Brower, left, and Charotte Bremer practiced parking and other essential driving skills under the watchful eye of driver education instructor Arlen Mekelburg during the return of driver education for students at the school. The class is offered through the University of Nebraska at Kearney Nebraska Safety Center. Nine Kimball students completed 24 hours of classroom instruction, three hours behind the wheel, and a final test to obtain a waiver to receive their provisional license at age 16 without having to drive 50 hours with their parents.
