Patricia C. Barrett, 81, of Kimball, died at her home surrounded by family on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Cremation has taken place and family arranged memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the First English Lutheran Church in Kimball with Pastor Randy Bohac officiating. Friends are invited to a light lunch following the memorial service.
Friends may visit http://www.cantrellfh.com to leave condolences and share stories with the family. Memorials may be given in her memory to the First English Lutheran Church Women's Auxiliary. The cremation services for Pat have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Patricia C. Barrett was born in Kimball on December 14, 1942, the daughter of LeRoy and Beverly (Schoenemann) Halstead. She was raised on the family farm in Kimball while her father served during WWII. She went to Denmark with her grandparents when she was in the 4th grade to visit family.
Following graduation from Kimball High School in 1960, she was married to Floyd W. Barrett on August 20, 1961 at the First English Lutheran Church in Kimball. Pat worked for Kimball Health Services as a Health Information Manager and served a term as the State President. She participated in Scouting with Floyd and they hosted many foreign exchange students over the years. Their house was always open for all kids who walked in the door. She was active in Stephen Ministries and enjoyed collecting rocks.
Survivors include her son Brent (Julie) Barrett of Pueblo, CO; daughter Brenda (Paul) Richter of Lolo, MT; granddaughters Katelyn (Ben) Adams and Abbie Barrett and fiancé Connor Grant; great granddaughter Paisleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
