Paul Gerald Vigil

An angel gained his wings and is now with the Heavenly Father. Paul Gerald Vigil, age 59 passed away on May 22, 2024.

Paul Gerald Vigil was born February 7, 1965 to Delores Rodriguez Vigil and Arthur Ernest Vigil in Kimball, Nebraska. He attended Kimball County High School, graduating in 1983.

Paul worked many jobs in his lifetime to include oilfield and pipe fitting. He was employed at TLC at the time of his death.

On December 16, 1988, he married the love of his life, Theresa Walker Hickox. They were married 35 years.

Paul loved life and had a positive outlook. He loved fishing almost more than his wife. He loved to camp and hunt. His main love was his family. He loved his friends. Laughing and joking were his fun side. He will be greatly missed.

Paul is survived by his wife, Theresa Vigil, children Robin Sanchez (Patrick), Timothy Hickox (Angela) and grandchildren, Emily, Tori, Isaac, Trystan and Issaballa, his mother, Delores Vigil, sister, Lauri Delaney (Kevin), brothers, Johnny Vigil and Mark Vigil along with numerous loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Arthur Vigil.

Celebration of life, with Rosary and Mass will be on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 511 S. Howard St., Kimball, NE 69145.
