Margaret C. (Yeager) Noah, 94, of Sterling, CO passed away June 17, 2024 in Kimball, Nebraska. At Margaret’s request cremation has taken place and family services will be held at a later date.
Margaret was born March 10, 1930 on a farm outside of Wewoka, Oklahoma to Loren C. and Allie Elizabeth (Jeffreys) Yeager. Margaret was one of six children. Margaret played half court basketball in High School and graduated salutatorian from New Lima High School in May of 1947. She married Eddie Martin Noah on May 4, 1948 in Wewoka, OK. Three children were born to this union, Donna Marcine, Eddie Michael, and Marcia Lynn. Margaret and Eddie were married just 3 days short of 54 years. Margaret enjoyed playing golf, bowling, going fishing, all sports; especially watching football with Oklahoma and the Dallas Cowboys being her favorites.
Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Donna Marcine (Roger) Owens of Sterling, CO and Marcia Noah Hettinger of Mitchell, NE. Grand-children, Tyson Owens of Sterling, CO, Derek Owens of Denver, CO, Spencer (Nicole) Noah of Austin, TX, Amanda (Jon) Reid of Parker, CO, Laura (Tanner) Hinton of Pine Bluffs, WY, Scott Noah of Kimball, NE, Roger Jr. (Marie) Owens of Fleming, CO, and Rich (Joan) Owens of Fort Collins, CO. 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, sister in law Dorothy Yeager of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eddie on May 1, 2002, son Mike on Dec. 23, 2017, brothers Archie (Maxine) Yeager, Dean (Sally) Yeager, Ratis Yeager, sisters, Sylvia (Jimmy) Mitchell, and Sue (Jim) Martin.
