Julia Winstrom On 4-H National Shooting Champions

Julia Winstrom of Kimball is a team member of the 4-H National Shooting Sports Champions for Air Rifle. She also put up top 10 performances in multiple individual categories.

She was selected as one of four Nebraska youth to participate in the 4-H National Shooting Sports Championship at Grand Island. The competition was held the last week of June. Competing against 21 teams, the Nebraska team became the national champions.

Julia placed fourth in the 3-position sporters, seventh in all standing air rifle, and sixth in air rifle silhouette.

In addition, Julia received the junior Distinguished Three Position Air Rifle Badge.

Her 4-H shooting sport ended with this amazing finish.

Overall, the Nebraska team was second in 3 position sporters, first in standing, and second in silhouettes.

Other members of the Nebraska team were Ashley Carr from Box Butte County, Andrew Enns from Gage County, and Scotts Bluff County's Danika Bhol. They were coached by Jenny Bohl.
