Nebraska high school state steer wrestling champion Wyatt Reichenberg of Banner County added an eight-place world finish to his record at this month's National High School Rodeo finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

The Harrisburg cowboy was 8.36 on his first run, which finished 33rd in go-around 1. He then was 7.02, which finished 21st in go-around 2.

His total time on 2 secured him the 12th spot in the average going into the short-go.

He won the short go with a 4.23, which bumped him up to finish eighth in the world at the National High School Rodeo finals.
