The Kimball Longhorn football team is making a splash this season. During football camp in early August, the team trained in the Kimball City Pool for a different type of workout. Coach Darrell Howitt said it was a tough workout and the players were tired, but he is trying to change things up a bit. Below is the new scoreboard that will keep Longhorn fans informed this season at Keith Staehr Field. While the new school year begins next Monday, Aug. 19, the fall teams – cross country, volleyball, golf and football – all began official practices on Aug. 12.
