Heather Entingh presents the final Yard of the Week for 2024 to Shelly and Norm Christiansen at 404 S. Howard. Shelly and Norm recently moved into a home that is a family heirloom, designed by her grandmother and built by her grandfather in 1950. The home was in need of remodeling and updating. In the yard with the help of their kids and grandkids, they laid lots of rock and planted a variety of hibiscus throughout the yard. Shelly remembers visiting her grandmother throughout the years and recalls watching the trees in the yard grow. Their future plans include putting a plant or bush that thrives under the pine trees and provides shade.
