Micah Anthony Dunegan

Micah Anthony Dunegan, 21, of Kimball, died in his home in Kimball on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Cremation has been held and memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Kimball Cemetery.

Friends may visit http://www.cantrellfh.com to share condolences and stories with the family. Memorials may be given to his father Kelly for a donation of their choice. The services for Micah have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Micah was born on September 10, 2003 in Scottsbluff, NE. Soon after, Micah joined the Dunegan family with his brother John, making the family complete. Micah graduated from Kimball High School in May of 2022, making many friends and touching many lives during his time in the Kimball Public Schools system.

Micah loved cooking, anime, video games, and telling jokes. He loved to entertain his family at family dinners by saying the most outrageous things and was never shy about anything. He was an unforgettable person – truly one of a kind, and his family won’t be the same without him.

He was deeply loved by his many family members and will be fondly remembered. Micah is survived by his father Kelly Dunegan, mother Mary Dunegan, brother John Dunegan, brother Sean (Elizabeth) Dunegan, sister Kelsey (Lincoln) Brown, sister Cassie Meza, aunt Shannon (Ernie) Klemt, uncle Casey (Karen) Dunegan, uncle Javier Bocanegra, uncle Oscar Bocanegra, cousin James Klemt, cousin Crystal (Jeff) Cook and his niece Lily Meza and nephew Tate Dunegan.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Patrick and Carol Dunegan, and grandparents Benny and Odilia Ruiz.
