Clean Harbors Files Permit Modification Request With Nebraska

Clean Harbors Environmental Services Inc. – the permitted hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal facility 5 miles south of Kimball on Highway 71 – has filed a Class 1 Permit Modification Request with the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy.

The purpose for the permit modification is to revise several Part B Permit Application sections in order to address clerical errors and provide additional clarification of wording where needed.

Those sections are:

• C-1 Chemical and Physical Waste Characterization.

• C-2 Waste Analysis Plan.

• D-1 Container Report.

• D-2 Tank Systems Engineering Report.

• D-4 Process and Instrumentation Drawings.

• D-6 Subpart BB Equipment with Appendix D6-A, Appendix D6-B, and Appendix D6-C.

• D-7 Subpart CC Air Emissions with Appendix D7-B.

• D-8 Thermal Oxidation Units.

• E-1 Procedures to Present Hazards.

• F Contingency Plan.
