Kimball Football, 1-3, Hosts 2-2 Bridgeport On Friday

The Kimball Longhorns (1-3) faced off against the Hemingford Bobcats (3-1) on Friday, Sept. 20, in a tough road game that ended in a 68-20 loss for the Longhorns. Despite a strong effort, Kimball couldn’t contain Hemingford’s offense, which capitalized on big plays throughout the night.

Kimball’s young team, though showing glimpses of promise, struggled to keep pace with the seasoned Bobcats. The Longhorns put 20 points on the board but couldn’t close the gap.

Looking ahead, the Longhorns will return to their home field on Friday, September 27, as they take on the Bridgeport Bulldogs (2-2) in a conference matchup, coinciding with the festivities of Farmer’s Day.

The Bulldogs will come into the game hungry for a win after splitting their first four games of the season. Kimball will look to bounce back and secure a conference victory in front of their home crowd.
