The young Wildcats lost to South Platte, 66-6, in what would become their final game of the season. Banner County School later released a statement announcing that the team's remaining three games will be forfeited due to injuries and the inability to safely field a team. "This was a difficult decision made after careful consideration," the statement read. "We thank our athletes and coaches for their efforts and community for their support of Banner County football."
