Longhorns football aims to end the 2024 campaign Friday with a win against visiting Morrill – and it’s an objective within reach.
Kimball stands at 1-6 on the season, a game ahead of 0-7 Morrill in the standings.
It’s a homecoming showdown for Kimball, and the Longhorns Boosters have a Chili and Cinnamon Rolls Feed in the works for the occasion.
Serving time starts at 6 p.m.
Kickoff is at 7.
The Horns enter the game following a 22-12 loss at Sutherland in which the team battled hard and kept it close with the Sailors.
Kimball’s junior high volleyball and football teams host Morrill on Thursday, July 17 – in previews of what the rivalries in those sports might look like in years to come.
