Construction continues for the four generators recently installed behind the old power plant on Howard and 1st streets.
The City of Kimball has announced that Burg Street will be closed between 1st Street and the alleyway adjacent to the City Electric Shop for construction equipment staging for the power generation plant.
The closure began late evening on Thursday, November 21, and will remain closed until further notice.
The city said that it will update the public about the closure as the project progresses, that it apologizes for any inconveniences, and that it thanks residents for their patience.
The city said limited access on Nadine Street between 2nd and 1st streets was expected to be limited to Monday, Nov. 25, and Tuesday, Nov. 26.
This was due to the placement of a new duplex building.
