The basketball Longhorns are getting ready for their openers in the 2024-25 season with new and old faces on the court. In the top photo, new coach Trevor Anderson watches standout Kyler Lusche go through a drill at the Arena. In the lower photo, the returning Addy Olsen dribbles two balls during practice. Olsen, a solid Longhorn athlete, went down after the last school year with a torn ACL while playing ball in Texas. Both teams have a little jamboree action coming up on Monday, Dec. 2, when Alliance rolls into town. Girls play at 5:30 p.m., boys at 7.
