The Kimball Longhorns jump back into the thick of their schedules this week following Christmas break. The girls, above, and boys basketball teams hosted South Platte on Tuesday, Jan. 7, and will welcome Haxtun to The Arena, on Friday, Jan. 10, before wrapping up the weekend Saturday, Jan. 11, at Chase County. Next Tuesday, Potter-Dix rolls into K-Town for a clash between the nonconference area rivals. The Lady Longhorn grapplers also have a busy weekend with the Sidney Invite on Friday and Garden County Invite on Saturday. Longhorn Nation will be keeping a close eye on boys varsity basketball, which finished the 2024 portion of their schedule 6-1
